Look at Me! is a piece exploring the idea of female vanity associated with selfie culture, and how a woman’s decision to take a photo of herself, especially one that is considered sexual, sexy, provocative, or a nude, makes her a vain slut, whore, etc.. This idea is only further perpetuated by incidents where romantic partners of women will expose, or share their once intimate photos, sometimes in an effort to shame that particular woman, and how the woman then gets more criticism and judgment because of the betrayal of her partner, while her partner’s act is never really disgusted in a way that wold indicated they had done anything wrong.
